

On-Ramps to AI Skills Camp Overview
On-Ramps to Careers (On-Ramps) makes promising technology career paths more attainable for underserved students in the National Capital region. Since 2013, On-Ramps has served over 1,000 students in over 1,300 internship opportunities - particularly young people in greatest need.
The On-Ramps to AI Skills Camp is a partnership between On-Ramps to Careers and Mayor Bowser’s Learn24 initiative which is a formal network of after school and summer opportunities that ensures children and youth in the District have access to quality educational and enrichment activities during the Summer.

Curriculum
Curriculum will consist of the foundations of Artificial Intelligence. AI prompt engineering, coding and practical development and use of AI Applications.
Community Service Hours
Participants will be able to earn community service hours for a portion of their time in the program. Details will be provided at the start of the program.
On-Ramps to AI Skills Camp is FREE for High-School aged DC students and includes FREE lunch for all in-call sessions and field trips. In-class sessions will take place twice weekly for the 5 weeks of the program.
